About Hadi
HADI (Human Assistance & Development International) Relief is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to individuals, families, and communities in need. Our mission is to provide aid and assistance to those less fortunate, irrespective of race, religion, gender identity, or nationality. HADI Relief provides emergency relief and long-term development programs in countries around the world.
HADI Relief works in countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Nepal, Pakistan,
Palestine, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Uganda and Yemen. Our programs focus on providing food and nutrition, health care, education, clean water, sanitation and hygiene, economic empowerment, and emergency relief.
HADI Relief also works to build resilience and self-sufficiency in communities affected by natural disasters, conflict, and poverty.

Mohammed Abdul Aleem
President of the Board
Mohammed Abdul Aleem is co-founder and CEO of Human Assistance & Development International (HADI), a nonprofit organization that established one of the first online Islamic communities at IslamiCity.org, building bridges of understanding locally and globally since 1995. Aleem has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and extensive work experience in the aerospace industry .

Amr Saemaldahr
Board Member
Amr Saemaldahr is the Chief Technology Officer & Co-founder of HADI. He previously worked at Tredex California as a Vice President – MIS Director. Amr has over 20 years of information technology and business development industry. He was also an early pioneer in putting entire Arabic and English Quranic text in an intuitive graphical user interface with search capabilities and audio recitation.

Dr. Rami Doueiri
Board Secretary
Dr. Rami Doueiri started with HADI as a volunteer and later joined as a project manager and director of donor relations, developing an educational program for schools and managing operations. He is currently the lab director at a Biotech incubator space and has 15 years of Biomedical research experience in cancer biology, molecular virology, and vaccine development.

Amr Saemaldahr
Board Member
Munir Shaikh is Vice President of Operations and Academic Affairs at Bayan Islamic Graduate School. He holds an M.A. in Islamic Studies from UCLA. He has participated in programs for advanced study of Arabic in Morocco and Egypt, and specializes in the history of Islamic Spain and the Mediterranean region. He regularly provides public lectures addressing medieval Islamic civilization, art, and literature, as well as contemporary inter-religious issues.

Daud Mohmand
Executive Director
Daud Mohmand is the co-founder and Executive Director HADI Relief. He has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and has a track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar projects. He previously was the Director of Operations and Development at Muslim Aid USA where he helped grow the startup non-profit from a 4 million dollars annual donation to 15 million dollars within 3 years. Prior to that he was the Special Events and Project Manager at Islamic Relief USA and was managing their 20-million-dollar annual campaign and multimillion-dollar national projects.
