The Call of Arafah

Fast, Repent, and Uplift the Ummah

On the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, the Day of Arafah arrives, quietly, powerfully, and full of divine mercy. It is the heart of Hajj, the day the Prophet (PBUH) stood before Allah (SWT) and asked for forgiveness on behalf of his Ummah. And Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, responded.

Arafah is not only for those on pilgrimage. It is for every believer. Wherever you are, this day is your invitation to return, reflect, and reconnect with Allah (SWT). It is a chance to fast, to pray with sincerity, to seek forgiveness, and to give.

The Prophet (PBUH) said:

“There is no day in which Allah frees a greater number of His slaves from the Hellfire than the Day of Arafah.”

(Muslim)

On this day, your dua’s are heard. Your repentance is embraced. Your fasting carries the weight of wiping away the sins of two years.

It is a day of spiritual transformation. But also, a day of action. Because the most sincere devotion is not only in what we whisper to the skies, but in how we serve those struggling on the ground.

How To Make The Most Of

The Day Of Arafah

This sacred day opens the gates of mercy. Step through them:

Fast With Intention

On the day of Arafah, non-pilgrims are highly recommended to maintain fasting. It is reported that the Prophet (PBUH) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, whereupon he said:

“It expiates the sins of the preceding year and the coming year.”

(Muslim)

Pray With Presence

“The best supplication is that of the Day of `Arafah, and the best thing that I and other Prophets before me said, is:

La ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadeer

“There is no god but Allah alone. He has no partners. To Him belong the sovereignty and all praise. He has power over all things.”

(Al-Tirmidhi)

Give With Compassion

On the day when divine forgiveness is at its peak, extend your own mercy. Give to those whose prayers are cries for food, safety, and warmth.

Multiply Your Reward. Deepen Your Devotion. Serve Your Ummah.
