Many live in makeshift shelters or overcrowded camps that offer little protection against freezing temperatures. In Afghanistan, families face extreme cold with inadequate resources; in Yemen, ongoing conflict and blockades hinder access to winter supplies. Palestinian families are going through the most brutal campaign ever faced, while Sudanese and Ethiopian IDPs are vulnerable to illness due to harsh conditions and disrupted aid. In Pakistan, many children and families struggle to stay warm, and in the U.S., recently arrived refugees are facing the hard reality of navigating a new country.
